Getting Started
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No referral is needed to schedule at Aligned and Well Chiropractic. Call us directly at (970) 800-3486, or request an appointment through the form on this site.
Do you take walk-ins or same-day appointments?
Yes. When you need to be seen today, we do our best to fit you in, and walk-ins are welcome when the schedule allows. If we can't fit you in right then, we'll book your first opening, which is sometimes a day or two out. Calling ahead at (970) 800-3486 is the best way to get a same-day time. More on same-day visits.
What happens on my first visit?
A thorough consultation with Dr. Flemming, a complete orthopedic and neurological examination, and a sit-down report of findings explaining what we found and what your options are. If X-rays are clinically appropriate, we explain why first. See Your First Visit for the full walkthrough.
Will I need X-rays?
Often, where clinically appropriate. X-rays let us see your actual spinal structure rather than estimating it — which is what makes measurable structural correction possible.
How many visits will I need?
That depends on your examination findings and how long the problem has been present. You get a specific recommendation after your evaluation, along with re-examinations to track objective progress rather than guesswork. Every plan runs in three phases; see how the phases of care work.
About Our Care
What is Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP)?
CBP is a research-based chiropractic technique that uses detailed measurement, X-ray and posture analysis to identify how far your spine deviates from ideal alignment, then applies specific adjustments and exercises to move it back toward normal.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Chiropractic care is widely used, and every patient at our clinic receives an examination before any care is provided so that treatment is matched to their specific condition and history.
How soon will I feel better?
Many patients notice meaningful change within the first few weeks, though this varies with how long the condition has been present and how much structural correction is needed.
Do you offer massage therapy?
Yes — we have two licensed massage therapists on staff. Massage therapy is available on its own, or alongside your chiropractic care.
Families & Pregnancy
Do you adjust children and babies?
Yes. Pediatric adjustments use very light pressure appropriate to a child’s size and age, and are quite different from adult adjustments. Parents stay with their child throughout the visit.
Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?
Dr. Flemming is Webster Technique certified for prenatal care, with technique and positioning adapted for each trimester. As with any care during pregnancy, discuss it with your OB or midwife.
Cost & Logistics
Does insurance cover chiropractic care?
Most insurance is accepted, including Medicare. We always do a complimentary benefits check before any charges are incurred, so you know exactly what your insurance is going to cover, if anything. See our insurance and payment page for detail.
What is the new patient special?
An introductory visit including a consultation, a full orthopedic and neurological exam, and a specialized report of findings. Mention the special when you contact us. It cannot be billed to insurance or submitted for third-party reimbursement.
I was in a car accident. What should I do?
Get evaluated as soon as possible, even if you feel fine. Symptoms from a collision often surface days or weeks later. Colorado MedPay coverage often applies regardless of fault — see our auto injury page.

Yes. Many Loveland patients first knew Dr. Brian Flemming’s practice as Columbine Chiropractic Center, and later as Align. Since 2024 it has been Aligned and Well Chiropractic, at 4190 N Garfield Ave #2 in Loveland.
