Ribbon Cutting with the Loveland Chamber of Commerce — Thank You for Showing Up
The Loveland Chamber of Commerce brought the big red scissors to North Garfield Avenue, and a lot of you came. Here is what it was like, and why it matters to us.
First, a clarification, because a ribbon cutting usually means something opened: nothing opened. Aligned and Well has been at 4190 N Garfield Ave since 2006. What happened is that we joined the Loveland Chamber of Commerce this year, and the Chamber does what it does for new members — ambassadors, a red ribbon, and a pair of scissors that does not fit in a drawer. They came out, we cut it, and now it is official.
It was fantastic. Better turnout than I expected: Chamber members, patients who took time out of their day to stand on our lawn, neighbors, and the team that actually runs this office.
Why a Ribbon Cutting After Twenty Years
Fair question. Joining the Chamber was overdue. Most of what happens in Loveland — the Corn Roast, the fundraisers, the referrals that pass from one front desk to another — runs through the people who were standing on our grass that afternoon. I wanted us in that room.
Not because we need to grow into this town. We have been part of it for twenty years. I just want to be part of everything great Loveland has going on, and there is a lot of it.
The People Who Actually Did This
I could not do this without my patients or my team, and I mean both halves of that sentence. Mildred has run the front desk long enough that she greets most of you by name before the door finishes closing. Emily and Rain are the reason the massage room stays booked. The three of them are in the team photo above, and they are the reason this office feels the way it does when you walk in.
What Changes for Patients
Nothing about the care. Same doctor, same measured, structural approach, same hours. What changes is that we are now plugged into the Chamber’s network of Loveland businesses — so if you own a business in town and your employees have backs, we should probably talk. You will also see us at more local events, and the Community page is where those will land.
To everyone who came: thank you. To the Chamber: thank you for the welcome, and for the scissors. And if you have driven past our sign for years and never come in, the new patient special is the easiest way to change that.
